1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC ‘98

Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC ‘98 Monte Carlo Version. Completed, but disappointed. Not disappointed with the kit, but with my lack of skill.

There were so many mistakes I made on this kit I think ten fingers are not enough to count them.

Painting the Body – 1/24 Subaru Impreza

Having completed the interior of the model, I moved on to the body today. It was an epic battle of me and my north-facing window against the northeasterly winds that have been raging these past few weeks.

I spent over an hour yesterday night masking the edges of the windows on the body shell to prepare it for more painting today.

I have been let down by my source of Gunpla time and again and embarked on a different model while waiting. It’s a Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC ‘98 Monte Carlo Version which my brother bought several years ago but never got around to building it.
